<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Al (Mitch) with family by his side at the University of Alberta Hospital at the age of 79. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Barbara; his children: Tammie (Mark), Danny (Sandra), Kenny and Jay (Lisa); his grandchildren: Cindy, Jill (Sean), Kim, Jason, Dana (Cory), Shawn, Nicholas; his great-grandchildren: Tyler, Nathen, Kiera, Melissa, Brandon, Carson, Joshua and Jayden; his great-great-granddaughter Delilah; as well as other dear relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: James and Anna; and his grandson Daniel. <br> <br>We would like to thank the staff at the Northeast Community Health Centre and the University of Alberta Hospital for the great care they gave to Al. <br> <br>He will be laid to rest at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in the Reflections Building. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in memory of Al.</div>
