David Joseph McGrath
(November 18, 1958 – September 9, 2016)
David was born in Branch St. Mary’s Bay, NL and lived in Edmonton, AB most of his life.
He lost his courageous battle against pancreatic cancer at the age of 57. He leaves to mourn his devoted wife of 33 years Darlene; and his loving daughters: Sandy (Dustin) and Cindy; grandchildren: Makayla, Kaylee, Everett and Evan; brothers: Dermie (Anne-Marie), Nicky (Amanda), Jerome (Holly), Leonard (Sharon) and Brian (Gail); sisters: Hannah (Ray) and Doreen (Walter); Brother-in-law Monty, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, in-laws and many friends.
He was pre-deceased by his parents John and Eleanor; brothers: Millie and Robert; sisters: Elaine and Triplets.
David was a passionate Local 92 Union member.
Thank-you to the doctors and staff at the Royal Alexandra Hospital and the Cross Cancer Institute for giving him more time with us.
