HESSON, Edith Chisholm
On August 29, 2016 Edith passed away suddenly surrounded by family and friends while traveling in the Vancouver area.
She is lovingly remembered by her five children; Mary-Louise (Don), Ken (Lauretta), Sandi, Bill (Leah) and Brian (Christy) and 14 grandchildren. Edith is also survived by her siblings; Mary, Joan, Duncan and David.
Edith was predeceased by her parents Alfreda & Alfred, her stepmother Nina and her brother George.
Edith dedicated herself to the development of youth and service to others in all walks of life.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Evergreen Funeral Chapel, 16204 Fort Road, Edmonton. Friends and relatives are welcome to pay their respects one hour prior to the service. Cremation will follow at a later date with her final resting place to be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Scouts Canada Youth Programs.
