<div itemprop="description">HESSON, Edith Chisholm<br><br>On August 29, 2016 Edith passed away suddenly surrounded by family and friends while traveling in the Vancouver area. <br><br>She is lovingly remembered by her five children; Mary-Louise (Don), Ken (Lauretta), Sandi, Bill (Leah) and Brian (Christy) and 14 grandchildren. Edith is also survived by her siblings; Mary, Joan, Duncan and David.<br><br>Edith was predeceased by her parents Alfreda & Alfred, her stepmother Nina and her brother George.<br><br>Edith dedicated herself to the development of youth and service to others in all walks of life.<br><br>A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Evergreen Funeral Chapel, 16204 Fort Road, Edmonton. Friends and relatives are welcome to pay their respects one hour prior to the service. Cremation will follow at a later date with her final resting place to be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. <br><br>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Scouts Canada Youth Programs. <br></div>
