Gary Quaale
September 12, 1934 - March 30, 2016
It is with sadness that the Quaale family announces the passing of Gary Dennis Quaale on March 30th, 2016 at the age of 81 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his two sons, Bryan (Myrne) and Bruce (Ramona), his four grandchildren Erin, Laura, Stuart and Grace and his furry friends Merlin & Levi.
He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather with a heart of gold. His generosity and love for his family will not be forgotten. Gary was predeceased by his beloved wife Nancy in 2005. Gary had a fulfilling career at CNR for 38 years and garnered many lifelong friends along the way. He was an avid reader and travelled the world through the pages of books.
A memorial service celebrating Gary’s life will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Evergreen Funeral Chapel, 16204 Fort Road, Edmonton. Gary’s final resting place will be with his wife at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to thank NE Homecare team, the Cross Cancer Institute and the Palliative Care team at the Norwood Centre.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Gary to Capital Care Norwood.
