<div itemprop="description"><br />FILIPCHUK, Jennie<br />1925-2015<br />On September 3, 2015 Jennie Filipchuk peacefully passed away with her family by her side from complications of pneumonia. She is survived by her daughter Patricia and her children Brad (Teresa), Nicole; her daughter Cornelia (Don) their children Jason (Melissa), Jennifer (Kelly), Sandra (Doug) and 6 great grandchildren Max, Liam, Kyla, Ronan, Makenna, Jaden who were the love of her life, sisters Helen and Lucy, brother in law Cornel (Anne), sister in law Eva Taschuk and numerous other relatives.<br />She was predeceased by her husband Steve, parents John and Dominika Taschuk, great grandson Jack and 4 sisters and 4 brothers.<br />The family would like to thank the staff at the Fort Saskatchewan Hospital for their excellent care for the last 5 days of mom&rsquo;s life and the staff at Summerwood Village for their care for the last 1 and a half years.<br />A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 10:00am at the Evergreen Funeral Chapel 16204 Fort Road, Edmonton with an interment to follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.<br />Donations to either the Alzheimer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.<br /></div>
