<div itemprop="description">MARSHALL, Kenneth (Ken) Lester<br>August 12,1950-November 1,2016<br>On November 1, 2016, Mr. Ken Marshall of Edmonton (born in Coaldale, Alberta) passed away peacefully at the age of 66 years in his chair at home watching his favourite pasttime- wrestling, He is survived by his wife Jo-Ann, stepson Matthew Frank, step-grandson Dylan Frank of Edmonton, siblings Gerry (Lorraine) Marshall of Ottawa, ON, Pam (Darryl) Heller, of Fort MacLeod, AB, Ron Park of Calgary, AB, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, in-laws, special friends John & Betty Boutillier. Ken was predeceased by: his grandparents, parents -Ruth Park and George Lane, stepfather Bob Park, brother Donald (Rocky) Lane , two step children, Jason and April Frank.<br>Ken took great pride in his firefighting days in the Canadian Armed Forces, his family and friends. He was passionate about golf, wrestling, martial arts, John Wayne movies. Ken was an accomplished and published poet and was writing a children's novel "Riley". Ken was fiercely loyal and protective of his family and friends and delighted all who knew him over the years with his wonderful sense of dry ,often innocent sarcastic humor and loved practical jokes, his timing was impeccable. Even in the later stages of his illness all you had to do was turn on some 50's music to see him "jive dance" in his seat, knowing all the words and music to a countless number of them. He will be dearly loved and missed by all who knew him.<br>In respect for Ken's wishes, no funeral services will be held. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Evergreen Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home. <br></div>
