<div itemprop="description">With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Laurel Ellen Thompson, age 62, following a brief but courageous battle with lung cancer. She is survived by daughters Jody Bolton and Connie Bolton (Dan), sons Ivan Taylor and Eric Taylor, grandsons Anthony, Danial, Jess, Jordan and Joel, sisters Sheila (Jim), Karen, Valerie, Lasina (Rory), Cheryl (Kyle), brother Peder (Mel), many nieces and nephews and her two best friends Jody and Bonnie. <br />Special thanks to the medical teams at the Grey Nuns Hospital and General Hospital. <br />In lieu of flowers, donations to Breast Cancer or Lung Cancer Research would be appreciated.<br /></div>
