<div itemprop="description">“Jay” Zinovia Genevieve Balanko (nee Romanufa) <br>November 8, 1930 ~ January 1, 2017 <br> <br>A wonderful, loving, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother went to heaven on January 1, 2017 to be with her parents Tilly and Maxym and her siblings Lee, Nestor, Terrance, and four brothers and sisters who passed away in infancy. <br> <br>This Earth Angel is survived by; her loving husband of 64 years, John, her sisters Joanne, Ricky, Evelyn, Jean, Patricia, and Jayne, and her sister-in-law Barb, four children, Caroline, Rita (Jane), Darrell (Gail), and Sharon (Bob) and her 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. <br> <br>Family and God were most important to Jay. She enjoyed family celebrations, reunions, get-togethers and going to dinner with family and being anywhere her family gathered. Jay loved to sing, hum, her roses and her garden. She loved and accepted people for who they are. She was loved by many and will be missed. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers or gifts; donations can be made directly to YESS, Youth Empowerment and Support Services (Formally Youth Emergency Shelter Society) and/or WIN (Women in Need) House <br> <br>The family would like to thank the staff at Laurier Lynnwood for care and compassion shown to Mom. <br></div>
